YouTube Channel

In fall of 2009 I was scouring the internet for obscure tech issues and specific information related to products I was considering for purchase. The information did not appear to exist and I knew I couldn’t be the only person asking these questions. So, I decided to solve the issues myself, buy the products, and share my findings. I was going to make tutorials and host them on my website. In spring 2009 I built a site for myself as a educational exercise, and because I blogged quite a bit at the time on social media platforms.

I was very familiar with linear video editing from personal projects in the past, but had limited experience with non-linear editing tools. I like to know a lot about a lot, so I seized this opportunity buy a MacBook and learn Final Cut Pro and Mac OSX. This would also provide the bonus of additional content for tutorials. The final step was finding a host for the videos.

I started a YouTube Channel. Below is a link to the channel and a few tutorial playlists. I went beyond education and began posting a variety of content; from vacations, and video game streaming, to chronicling my cat’s uneventful life.
